was born in Louisville Kentucky and grew up in Madison, IN - her father's hometown.

She graduated from Madison High School, married and moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. She lived there for 33 years and now resides in Historic Madison, Indiana.

Barbara sketched in her earlier years and tried many medias. The most interesting media in her experiences were oils, watercolors, and gold and silver point.

Recently her passion has turned to painting historic Madison and Riverboats. However she does commission work consisting of pets, portraits, landscapes, architecture, animals from the wild, domestic animals, barns, country-side scenery, and still life.

Her paintings have been sold internationally and throughout the United States.
