Riverboats of the Ohio
The Riverboats of the Ohio fine art prints by Steamboat House Art, return you to the time when these graceful boats still plyed the Ohio River. The children of all ages would run to the Ohio River, to be serenaded by the calliopes playing while the boat was docked for the passengers visiting or returning to Madison, Indiana. Sadly all Ohio riverboats have been retired; the last being the Delta Queen. The American Queen still makes limited Cruises on the Mississippi. The Majestic Showboat and its tow Attaboy, docked at Madison in the 1960's. It too has gone the way of the other river boats. These fine art prints and note cards make great gifts that eloquently speak of a era that has passed.
